Developmental Appreciative Navigation Approach

The goal of the DANA training is to encourage growth and professional development of the medical specialist.

This approach was developed within the hospital setting by Annemiek Nooteboom, based on coaching and training techniques from Appreciative Inquiry and solution-focused coaching, both derived from Positive Psychology. These methods help to systematically identify and expand the most effective elements of the individual and the organization.

DANA is a structured and validated conversational methodology. The training is suited for experienced physicians who seek to mentor and coach their peers.
